About this app

Created by Allan Legemaate as a learning project for SvelteKit.

Safety

HerbCodex is for education only. It is not medical advice. Many edible plants have toxic lookalikes, and some of them can kill. Never eat or use a wild plant unless an expert has confirmed what it is. Talk to a doctor before you use any plant as a medicine, especially if you are pregnant or take medicines.

Use it in the field

After your first visit, the plant pages work offline. On a phone, add HerbCodex to your home screen to use it like an app. Plant pages also print cleanly, without the menus or map.
